It was on, it was off. It was on, if was off. The Andrei Arshavin transfer to Arsenal flip-flopped back and forth more often than Michael Scott's vasectomy. The midfielder's move from Zenit St. Petersburg, mercifully, came to its conclusion Tuesday.

The Russian playmaker finally comes to North London after weeks of speculation and at least three times after the media had declared the deal dead. The 27-year-old Arshavin, a breakout star at Euro 2008, signed a 3 1/2 year contract with the Gunners. He is the club's most expensive all-time signing at £15 million.
