When AC Milan plays Reggina Saturday at the San Siro, someone ought to play The Clash's 'Should I Stay or Should I Go' over the stadium's public address system. It's pretty much been the theme for David Beckham since he began his short-term loan at the Italian club from the Los Angeles Galaxy.

Every day there seems to be a new rumor about Beckham getting out of his Galaxy contract and extending his Italian holiday past the initial March 9 deadline. Wednesday the news is that Beckham's lawyers are beginning negotiations with the Galaxy about a deal. Although Beckham, who's now psuedo-on record with wanting to stay in Italy, has most of the power, ultimately it lies with the Galaxy management to make the final call.
