U.S. Resumes 2010 Qualifying at Home Against Trinidad & Tobago

The U.S. national team resumes its quest to qualify for its sixth-straight World Cup Wednesday night in Nashville, Tenn., when it hosts Trinidad & Tobago (ESPN2, 7:30 PM ET). The Nats are looking to get their qualification campaign back on track after a 2-2 draw at El Salvador Saturday night. Even with the disappointing draw, the U.S. still leads the CONCACAF 'Hexagonal' with four points, one ahead of both Mexico and Costa Rica.

The good news for the U.S. is that it's 6-0-1 all-time in qualifiers against Trinidad on home soil. The somewhat bad news, is that the only team to beat the U.S. in the 2010 marathon qualification process was Trinidad, last year after the U.S. had already booked a place in the final phase.
