Florida State received the highest preseason ranking among Florida schools in the Amway Coaches Top 25 football poll released Thursday.

The Seminoles, who topped Michigan in last year’s Orange Bowl, are ranked No. 3 entering 2017 after ending the 2016 campaign at 10-3.

Florida, which ended the season with a 30-3 win against Iowa in the Outback Bowl, is ranked No. 16.

Miami is No. 18 ahead of coach Mark Richt’s second season.

South Florida is ranked No. 21 after winning 11 games last year.

Alabama and Ohio State are the top two teams, respectively.
