New Jersey had a welcome sense of deja vu as a Jamie Langenbrunner goal gave the Devils an overtime win for the second straight night on Friday, this time beating the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-3.

Langenbrunner, who scored the overtime winner against Boston a day earlier, tied the game with just 31 seconds left in regulation, then scored again late in overtime to give New Jersey its eighth straight victory.

The win moved the Devils five points clear atop the Atlantic Division, and 14 points ahead of the Penguins, who led 3-1 in the third.

Flames 3, Predators 1

In Calgary, Alberta, goalie Miikka Kiprusoff made 28 saves for his NHL-leading 30th victory as Calgary downed Nashville.

Andre Roy, Adrian Aucoin and Matthew Lombardi scored for Calgary, which has an 11-point lead atop the Northwest Division and are five points behind overall second-placed Detroit in the Western Conference.

Flyers 6, Lightning 1

In Tampa, Florida, Jeff Carter scored twice in the third period to take the NHL goal lead and cap Philadelphia's dominant win over Tampa Bay.

Mike Richards had two goals and an assist for Philadelphia.

With his 31st and 32nd goals, Carter moved one ahead of Washington's Alex Ovechkin for the NHL lead.

Oilers 3, Wild 1

In Edmonton, Alberta, goalie Dwayne Roloson made 29 saves to help Edmonton past Minnesota.

Ales Hemsky, Ethan Moreau and Lubomir Visnovsky scored for the Oilers, who moved into a three-way tie for fifth place in the Western Conference standings, two points ahead of eighth-place Minnesota.

Blue Jackets 1, Senators 0

In Columbus, Ohio, goalie Steve Mason stopped 18 shots for his NHL-leading seventh shutout of the season as Columbus edge Ottawa.

Mason's efforts made fellow rookie Jake Voracek's second-period goal stand up as the winner.

Mason, who didn't start the season with the Blue Jackets, has a league-best 1.98 goals-against average in 32 games. He's fifth in save percentage (.928), and has turned the Blue Jackets into playoff contenders for the first time in their eight years.
