A Broward couple decided to sanctify their union before God in an unlawful way Tuesday by having sex on a lawn near a church, authorities said.
Diane Orosz, 47, and Matthew Rayfield, 43, were caught by Broward Sheriff's deputies rolling around naked on the ground in Pompano Beach near the Intracoastal and right across from a church and a daycare center in the middle of the afternoon.
Passing motorists and boaters called BSO about the public display of affection at around 1 p.m. When questioned about the sex, the still naked couple told deputies it was their anniversary.
Deputies congratulated the couple on their accomplishment with a pair of matching silver handcuffs. Awww!
The arresting officer is listed as Capt. Wiener (we're not kidding), which got quite a chuckle out of the judge, who orderd a $250 bond. He said the couple had been arrested before on several occasions, most times for tresspassing or being drunk in public.
"This one was quite a doozy," Circuit Judge John Hurley said.
Rayfield and Orosz are in jail and charged with disorderly conduct and indecent behavior. It's an anniversary the couple will never forget.
