Couple Faces Charges For Stealing Bags At Airports: Cops

The duo was charged with at least five such thefts at Fort Lauderdal-Hollywood International Airport and Miami International Airport.

A couple was arrested for stealing luggage off South Florida airport carousels, authorities said.

The duo, Sean Maxwell and his wife Lorina Flint, were charged with at least five thefts at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and at the Miami International Airport since March, The South Florida Sun Sentinel reported.

Surveillance video caught a well-dressed man walking off with luggage he put on a cart, authorities said.

On Sunday, a United Airlines employee a man matching the surveillance video description witha  bag at the Fort Lauderdale airport. The man was stopped before he got into a vehicle, and inside the vehicle, authorities found toothbrushes and other travel-related items.

Flint first said she was there to pick up her husband then she said she there to pick up his friend.

 Maxwell and  Flint told a judge on Monday they don't have the money for a lawyer or to post bond. Charges include grand theft and organized scheme to defraud.

It wasn't immediately known if they had attorneys.
