A drill rig crashed into a Sunny Isles building on Tuesday afternoon, but no injuries were reported.
Police weren't immediately sure what caused the rig to crash into the Sands Point building, but there was speculation that high winds contributed. Authorities had originally said it was a crane.
The apartment is located at 16711 Collins Avenue.
