A man was arrested after he allegedly punched a woman in the face at a McDonald's drive-thru in central Florida in an incident caught on video.
Howard Carl Wilson, 68, was arrested on a battery charge in the incident that happened Saturday night at the McDonald's in Winter Haven.
Wilson was booked into jail Sunday and later released. It was unknown whether he has an attorney.
Wilson had been in one lane of a double drive-thru when the vehicle in another lane pulled in front of him, WPTV reported.
Witnesses said Wilson became upset, yelling profanities and racial slurs before he approached the vehicle. The passenger of the vehicle, Brittani Thomas, opened her door and the two argued before Wilson is shown punching her in the video.
"I was telling him 'sir, it's just McDonald's, it's just McDonald's, everybody's gonna get their food' and he took it way out of hand," Thomas said.
Police tracked down Wilson, who admitted "it was like a road rage incident," WPTV reported.
