Authorities were investigating after a yellow car got stuck in a possible sinkhole, which may have been caused by a water main break.
The address of where the car is stuck is 8500 Crespi Blvd.
The contractor DMSI and crews from Miami Beach Public Works were repairing the water main break on Crespi Boulevard between 84th and 85th streets Tuesday night. Two cracks were found on the broken pipe, city spokeswoman Nannette Rodriguez said in an email.
About 500 customers were without water on the east side of Crespi Boulevard on that block.
Rodriguez said precautionary boil water notices would be sent to the affected customers.
