Wedding Crasher Charged With Murder

A palm Beach man plowed into wedding guests after being kicked out of a wedding party

A South Florida man was arrested for allegedly plowing a car into fellow wedding guests, killing one woman and injuring another.

Authorities say 46-year-old Lewis Clifton Weilenman faces charges including second-degree murder and attempted second degree murder. It wasn't immediately known if he had an attorney.

Authorities say witnesses told them Weilenman was getting drunk and becoming angry on March 28. So, he was asked to leave. He left, and allegedly returned with a knife.

A guest took the knife and Weilenman was kicked out again.

But like any unwelcome guest, he returned. After getting the boot once more, Weilenman allegedly shouted, "I'm going to kill you guys," before mashing the gas and driving over two women.

One of the women was the bride's mother.

Weilenman hit the second woman and then backed over her a second time before someone finally pulled him from the car and her from under it.

The woman died at the hospital with injuries to her lungs and heart.
