Woman Blames Drug Deal on the Tooth Fairy

Woman claims Tooth Fairy gave her $1,300 in drug money

It's pretty routine for people to blame something on their dog or even the alcohol, but this may be the first time someone is pointing the finger at the Tooth Fairy.

A Port St. Lucie woman gave cops her creative version of a drug deal that included some cash left under her pillow by the magical tooth hoarder earlier this week, TCPalm reports.

On Tuesday, Kathryn Hudson was caught trying to buy oxycodone from an undercover cop. when detectives questioned her on the thousands in cash they found on her, the unemployed 22-year old presented a pretty reasonable excuse - for a drug user anyway.

The Tooth Fairy gave it to her.

We're not sure how many teeth you have to lose to get $1,300 in fairy bucks, but if myth holds true, Hudson should be on her 53rd set of dentures.

Needless to say, the police arrested Hudson anyway. Police think the cash really came from other drug deals Hudson was making.

Maybe the Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny will come and bail her out of jail.

Hudson was slapped with several drug charges. She may also face a libel lawsuit from the Tooth Fairy, but we hear she doesn't hold a grudge.
