She remains in jail on $9,000 bond.

A Boca Raton woman was arrested after police say she threatened a man with a kitchen knife hours after their first date, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.

Jillian Martone, 35, was arrested early Wednesday morning and faces charges including aggravated assault without intent to kill, battery and burglary, according to online arrest records. She remains in jail on $9,000 bond.

Boca Raton Police said the argument began on the 300 block of NW 67th Street after Martone became angry that her date, 39-year-old Efren Molina, denied the two were dating, according to a report.

"Martone became enraged," and wouldn't leave Molina's apartment when he asked her to, authorities said. She then allegedly punched Molina and threatened his life with a knife she grabbed from his kitchen, a police report said.

Once Molina removed the knife from her hands, he dragged the woman down his stairs. Police arrived and found her crying just after she smashed Molina's window with two rocks, the Sentinel said. They also saw blood on two floors of the stairwell and a cut on Molina's hand, according to the newspaper.

Molina told police that the two met earlier this week and had been out for food and drinks, the report said.

"It was apparent that Martone was the aggressor," police said in the report.
