Baby Lailie Victoria Ruiz-Toledo defied all odds when she was born weighing only 13 ounces. After four months in the neonatal intensive care unit at Baptist Children’s Hospital, she’s ready to spend the New Year with her family.

An infant who doctors called a “miracle baby” was able to go home in time for the New Year after spending four months in the hospital. She was born at just 13 ounces. NBC 6’s Melissa Adan reports.
