Miami Beach police change Taser policies after teen’s death

The Miami Beach Police officer who fatally shot a young graffiti artist with a Taser was justified in his use of force and won’t face criminal charges, the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office said Thursday.

Miami Beach is the first city in Miami-Dade County to approve the use of body cameras for police officers. The family of the graffiti artist who died after a Miami Beach officer tasered him welcomes the change.
