With Sunday’s finale of the HBO show looming, here’s an update on where those characters stand after an action-packed season of zombie-mobbing, dragon-torching and secret-revealing.

After the episode aired, the actors behind some of these fan-favorite and fan-hated characters took to social media to bid farewell.

The moral here is that war makes everyone look bad. But it’s unfortunate that the showrunners had to turn a female lead into the stereotypical “crazy woman” to get this message across.
