The European Space Agency is on a quest to explore Jupiter and three of its moons.

The first photo from the flyby is a closeup of Europa’s equatorial region, crisscrossed by ridges, troughs and possibly an impact crater.

Jupiter will be at its closest point to Earth in 59 years on Monday, according to NASA.

The giant red planet will come the closest to Earth it has been since 1963 on Monday night.
