A woman and a former worker at a Florida casino operated by a Native American tribe have been sentenced to federal prison for their roles in stealing more than $5 million from the business

Miccosukee Resort & Gaming reopened with limited operations Sunday morning, enforcing stringent safety standards for both patrons and employees.

Miccosukee police units responded to reports of a shooting at the resort around 3 a.m.

Police are responding to an incident at Miccosukee Casino and Resort that sent two people to the hospital Sunday morning. NBC 6’s Derrick Lewis reports.
