Ahhhh, Agua

Mondrian's new spa, Agua, brings a taste of the lux life to South Beach

Giant table legs, an oversized disco ball cut in half—it’s all part of Agua Spa’s design. Housed in the Mondrian and conceived by celebrity designer Marcel Wanders, the 4,000 square-foot spa’s look is part of his signature style (white, white and more white mixed with oversized décor).

But Agua doesn’t just look pretty, it makes you feel that way, too, with options like the White Cloud Algae Body Mask ($150 for 60 minutes), a treatment that releases tension and smoothes the ripples (aka cellulite) in your body with sweet orange, ylang ylang and lavender essential oils. There’s also Ultimate Manicures and Pedicures ($60 for 45 minutes, $75 for 90 minutes), complete with massages and paraffin wax treatments to boot. Agua offers up Butter London products, a non-toxic nail polish line for all you organic greenies out there.

Maybe you want to venture outside the spa’s six treatment rooms for your service. If you prefer to go poolside, the spa offers a variety of cabana massages, like a 20 minute foot massage for $50, as well as manis and pedis—because getting a relaxing treatment in a relaxing aquatic atmosphere is so much more, uh, relaxing, especially when it includes bites from Asia de Cuba.

Wait, who said paradise was lost? We just found it.
