Filler up again and again and again at BeerFest. The Miami New Times’ event in Downtown Fort Lauderdale gives South Floridians what they really want, beers from far and wide, tonight from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
From Sierra Nevada Pale Ale to NewCastle, even Young’s Double Chocolate Sout, there’s a beer for everyone. Want a Chang? They have that, too. How about a Longboard or a Fire Rock? You can taste them all for $20 in advance, $25 at the door.
And what’s beer without a little rock ‘n’ roll? The Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band, Behind the Sun, will be there to crank out tunes for the lager lovers. (Don’t worry, you’ll more than likely be too drunk to notice they aren’t the real deal.)
From the Park and Ride to a stay at Embassy Suites, the event has you covered should you imbibe a little too much beer—which is totally the point of the festivities. So go ahead, take a sip of all 99 bottles of beer on the wall. Just make sure you BYO aspirin for that raging headache you’ll have tomorrow.
