Remember those T-shirts that said, “No One Gives a Damn About Your Band?” Well, if you have one, you might want to throw it on and head over to Shore Club tonight at 7:30 when The Band From TV takes the stage.
Wait, you’ve never heard of The Band From TV? Somehow, we’re not too surprised. But if you like to see celebs make asses of themselves, you’ll take pleasure knowing Teri Hatcher and James Denton from “Desperate Housewives” and Greg Grunberg and Adrian Pasdar from “Heroes” teamed up with Jesse Spencer and Hugh Laurie of “House” to make a celeb-driven band. Oh wait, we forgot Bob Guiney of “The Bachelor” is in on it, too. How on earth could we forget that A-lister?
We won’t go too far poking fun at the wannabe musicians, they are, after all, doing this for charity’s sake. And they did land on Amazon’s CD/DVD list with a No. 1 spot (how, we implore, how?).
Tonight they’ll take the stage to raise funds for the Epilepsy Foundation. Support a good cause, but bring some earplugs so you don’t end up with celebrity songbird-induced shakes yourself.
