10/5: Tuesday's Heat-ing Up

The Heat at the triple-A, sake at Ra Sushi and tango at the Biltmore

LOVE TO HATE: We were biting our fingernails waiting for Wade's decision and we threw block parties all over town at news that not only was the Miami Heat keeping its star, but we were adding two more - King James and Chris Bosh! Well, now it's time to show all the haters how it's done when the Miami Heat takes on the Detroit Pistons for a preseason game tonight at the AAA. There are tickets available, check out ticketmaster.com.

SAKE: For some, the month of October signifies days of beer and wurst in celebration of Oktoberfest. In the sake world, it's a celebration of the sweetest and the driest of everyone's fave Japanese bev. Come out to Ra Sushi in South Miami to celebrate "Nihonshu no Hi," which means Sake Day in Japan. Celebrate "RA-ctoberfest" with a $9 sake menu offered to all guests the entire month of October.

TANGO: If you've ever fantasized about twisting and twirling to tantalizing tango beats on the dance floor with your special someone, then head to the Biltmore with dancing shoes tonight. It's a one-year anniversary with performances by tango pros along with classes for the novices. There will be a drawing to win two seats at the Sunday champagne brunch and two private tango dance lessons. The event is $25 and starts at 8 p.m.
