1/10: You Oughtta Be in Pictures, Monday

Indie film in the Gables, BYOB at Eos and disco boogie on WVUM

OUT OF AFRICA: Actually, "White Material," a film by acclaimed French filmmaker Maria Vial ("Chocolat"), takes place in Africa, on a coffee plantation that the main character is trying to save during civil unrest. Coral Gables Art Cinema, 8:30 P.M.

BOTTLE SERVICE: If you're like us, your wine usually costs as much (if not more) than your dinner. So hooray for Uncorked Mondays at the Viceroy's Eos. The restaurant's $25 corkage fee is waived, which means you can spend money on other important stuff - like extra dessert. 7-10 P.M.

PUMP UP THE VOLUME: Just because you're thinking of staying in tonight doesn't mean you can't get your party on. Tune into WVUM's (90.5 FM) Vamos a la Playa, which plays disco throwbacks to '80s rarities to post punk. 5-7 P.M.
