11/12: Say Cheese, Thursday

A photog, a celeb and a filmmaker walk into a bar...

CELEBRITY SKIN: It's tough being a paparazzi, er, celebrity photographer. Especially in Miami, where celebs usually come to get away from all the flash bulbs of NYC and L.A. But beloved local photog Manny Hernandez has managed to make a biz out of capturing the beautiful, famous people, and tonight you can catch a glimpse of his life's work in the opening reception for "This Is It!". 7-10 p.m.

ISA-BELLA DIVA: Famed actress, model, and beauty icon Isabella Rossellini is not all looks. She has written several books and most recently wrote, directed, and starred in the short film, "Green Porno." She'll be hosting a Q&A session at the Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus as part of the Miami Book Fair International for $10 a ticket..7:30 P.M.

BOLLYWOOD MEMOIR: Talk about an eclectic mix. Sadia Shepard grew up in a multi-faith home with a Muslim mother, Christian father, and Jewish grandmother. To top it off, she's been in India for two years learning of her family's past. Now she's back to tell us of her adventures at Bardot, along with the likes of Hendrick's Gin and food. That sort of makes us want to go on a life-changing adventure and learn about our past, if only we could get off our BarcaLoungers. 8 P.M.
