Santa arrives in Miami, pizza and politics and how about hitting the beach in November

SANTA IS HERE! Well, he's in South Miami anyways. Join Santa and his elves and reindeer and check out the largest Christmas theme park in the world. Tonight, walk through millions of lights as Santa's Enchanted Forest opens for its 28th year. Rides for the kiddies and and the big kids, but if you're not into rollercoasters, check out the food and stroll down the Miracle of 40th Street display. Head to Tropical Park tonight through January 2nd, tickets are $25 for adults and children ages 3-9 get in for $17.

CHEW ON THIS: Have you digested the midterm election results yet? Whether you have or haven't, you can head out to the Lowe Art Museum in Coral Gables in the University of Miami to learn about the influence politics has on these works of art by students. "ArtLab @ the Lowe: The Changing Face of Art and Politics" will serve up Pizza Rustica and cocktails provided by Bacardi and Vitamin Water Zero and for the zen in you, Honest Tea will be poured as well. Pay $10 at the door or walk in for free if you're a Lowe member.

BEACH BASH IN NOVEMBER: It's the hottest party of the year and you're invited with one of the hottest DJs in South Florida spinning live, New Times Best DJ of 2010 and Playboy Playmate DJ Tamara Sky. Your $50 ticket will you have munching away at the food by the open bar, for $50 extra bucks make your way into the Ocean Drive VIP lounge. This party benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
