2/12: Love Me Tender

The King presides, a Village grand opening and fast pin dropping

CHAPEL OF ELVIS: By the power invested in... Elvis?.Tonight at Miami's oldest bar, Tobacco Road, show your main squeeze how much you care by letting an Elvis impersonator officiate your fake wedding. There will be four stages with live music, romance-themed photo booths, artists, vendors, DJ and of course, a midnight wedding ceremony. So whether you have been together for 10 minutes or 10 years, for only $10, Elvis will be your own personal minister. That will definitely get your boo all shook up. 10 P.M.

BLOCK PARTY: Everyone loves a good party, and a party with a bunch of your South Florida neighbors? Even better. Tonight at The Village, Gulfstream Park's newest shopping and eating mecca, will host a street festival not to miss. The newest club to hit Gulfstream, Greenhouse Nightclub, will also host a celebration and festival in the name of their grand opening. Street Fair characters will permeate throughout the week, as local talent, balloon sculptors, magicians and other entertainers keep the grand opening excitement going. All the new amazing shops at The Village, like Martier Lingerie and Yard House, will have their own parties going on to make sure there isn't a moment of downtime. 6 P.M.

BOWL OF LOVE: Anyone single is very aware of what Sunday is. Don't worry, there is still time to find love! And if not love, maybe you can bowl your way into a one night stand. Lucky Strike on Miami Beach is hosting Speed Bowling For Love, where for $55 you get one hour of quick dates, bowling, 74 other singles, free drinks, limited-edition $9 cocktails and a pair of (hopefully) clean borrowed shoes. 7:30 P.M.
