BARACK AND ROLL: Many of us have heard the phrase, "Don't quit your day job." Now the question is, how do you go from sitting in the House of Representatives to making fun of people you once called your bosses? A group called the Capital Steps have done just that. Catch the comedy troupe tonging at Kravis Center For The Performing Arts in West Palm Beach. Who are these group of jokesters? They began as a group of Senate staffers who set out to satirize the very people and places that employed them, of course. All have worked in Congressional offices and represent 62 years of collective House and Senate staff experience. Now promoting their latest album Barackin' Around The Christmas Tree, these funny people are sure to make you say Obama Mia! 1:30 & 7:30 PM
FORTY AND FABULOUS: We all know that 30 is the new 20 and being 40 is now something to be proud about. The Grill at The Setai obviously feels the same way. Today and everyday for that matter, you can experience their Four for Forty menu. This delicious foursome is for diners who can choose a dish from each category of small, medium, large plus desert on a prix fixe menu for just $40. So even if you're nowhere near 40 or maybe are a tad bit older, it will definitely be fabulous. 7 PM.
GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS: Not to be cheesy and quote pop music, but if the song "I Kissed A Girl" by Katy Perry spoke to you, than we have the perfect night in store. Tonight at Nocturnal in downtown, come celebrate all that is ladies at their new night Rainbow Kisses. Their week-old party is one of very few lesbians' nights in Miami and they promise not to disappoint. For only $15, you can come enjoy a night with lots of ladies, tons of music from hip-hop to house, and partying till 4 AM. Girl power! 11 PM.
