3/28: Destiny's Child

Celebs, cocktails, and charity.

FOR THE GIRLS: After a very long weekend of tennis and non-stop electronic music, it is definitely time for a little Sunday funday action. Maybe a little cocktail soiree to end the weekend? Tonight Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and actress Kelly Rowland celebrates the worldwide launch of her new charity, I Heart My Girlfriends, an interactive support system for teenage girls. This is Rowland's first non-profit charity and to honor the occasion ONE Bal Harbour Resort & Spa will host an exclusive coming-out party at the ultra-chic oceanfront property. Guest will enjoy lite bites provided by ONE and sip on tasty cocktails courtesy of Grey Goose. Drinking and eating for a cause, that's what we always say. 6 PM.

STRIP SHOW: If maybe having a relaxing Sunday sounds terribly boring to you, we understand. Even though it seems like no parties are less than $50 this weekend because of WMC, we found one for the ladies that is the expensive price of free. Tonight at Miami Beach's famous Mansion Night club, they present Strip Tease Sundays. At their sexy Sunday party, ladies receive complimentary entry and cocktails before midnight. Playing the best music all night long, there really isn't a better evening than one spent with friends and free booze. 11 PM.

HARMONY FOR HAITI: If there is one thing we did good this year, it was coming together as a country for Haiti. Even though it seems like maybe enough has been done, they are still in desperate need. In the tradition of helping those less fortunate, the city of Lauderhill, led by Mayor Dale Holness, businesses and community organizations have joined forces with international and local recording artists to create "To Haiti With Love Benefit Concert,A Concert For Life." The star-studded event will be held from noon to 10 PM at the picturesque Central Broward Regional Park. The concert will have all music from reggage to salsa and will cater to the entire family with entertainment for the young and young at heart. Noon.
