3/4: Howdy Neighbor

Haven't we seen you around before?

GOOD NEIGHBOR INITIATIVE: Ever walked into your building or walked down your street and realized you don't know one of your neighbors? In a big city, that's par for the course, but if you're looking to meet some new drinking buddies, be part of the Downtown Initiative, an event to give downtowners a chance to make new friends and get to know their 'hood and all that we love about it. There will be live music, tasty treats and cocktails courtesy of Grey Goose vodka, which will also be presenting their new "downtowner" cocktail. 270 East Flagler Street and Southeast 3rd Avenue. 5:30-8 P.M.

IT'S WINTER? We may not own more than one jacket, but that doesn't stop Miami from hosting The Winter Party Festival, a weekend of pool parties, shopping perks, cocktail receptions, art showcases, and complete total madness. With all this fun, there is some good that comes out of it all. Produced by the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, Winter Party events donate proceeds to organizations serving the LGBT community. Tonight, dive into the fun with Rip Current at Score on Lincoln Road. 10 P.M.

COCKTAILS FOR A CAUSE: We're so close to Friday we can taste it. But Thursday isn't so bad, what with fashion, cocktails and hor d'oeuvres tonight at Tease. There will be a fashion show by Yaffa Black Label Wig Line and The Art Institute Of Fort Lauderdale, showcasing our favorite fashions from 1920s til today. Fashion and beauty lovers can enjoy the journey of the decades with unlimited cocktails and nibbles all night long, but help a lot of people along the way. Donations from the event will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. 8 P.M.
