YABED, WEST BANK - MAY 10: Blackened hands hold backgammon chips as Palestinians Arnoub (L) and Ammar Mahmoud Abu Bakker take a break from tending slow-burning piles of wood covered with straw and charcoal dust on a smoky hillside in Israel May 10, 2005 near their West Bank village of Yabed. For years members of the same families have used manual labor and time-honored practices to turn wood into charcoal in a 10-day process that involves round-the-clock supervision. The charcoal is sold to dealers for as little as 0.66 USD a kilogram (0.30 USD a pound) but will fetch us much as four times that price from Israelis celebrating their Independence Day with traditional barbeques on Thursday this week. SWEAT IT OUT: It's more than just a record store -- Sweat Records is a coffee house meets a wi-fi lounge, and tonight, it's a great place for you to hang out with cool people and challenge them to do something they probably haven't done in years - part with the phone, laptop and open up the Monopoly board for "Rec Room Tuesdays," which will feature sketching, knitting and board games. 7-10 P.M.

SMOOTH GROOVES: Sit back and relax with smooth jazz by the Grammy award-winning saxophonist Felipe Lamoglia, who brings his quintet AfroCuban Beats to Jazid on Miami Beach tonight. 9 P.M.

GRAZIE SENORE: Go Euro for happy hour tonight. Angelique Euro Cafe on Miracle Mile in the Gables is giving you a taste of Europe tonight and every Tuesday through Friday. Indulge in $6 bar bites like lamb lollies, tortillas del dia, chorizo in wine and much more. Draft beer and wine for $5 and $3 import draft beer, too. 4-8 P.M.
