Situation: Shore Not Only Thing Going for Me

'Jersey Shore' cast member teams with Boca Tanning Club

"Jersey Shore" cast member Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino isn't just a reality star. Now, he's a business man and one of his new ventures is in Miami.

Behind the scenes, he's making millions endorsing products and now he's teamed up with Boca Tanning Club.

"The facilities are gorgeous," Sorrentino said. "We're looking to expand throughout the United States and internationally as well."

It's not this business side that made the 29-year-old famous. Instead, it was life at the "Jersey Shore."

"Oh, the 'Jersey Shore' could be over tomorrow," he said. "It's a great show, but it's not the only thing I have going for me."

It was his star quality that attracted business partner and co-owner Jen Boronico.

"It could not have been a better fit," Boronico said. "He's the creator of GTL. The stars aligned when our paths crossed and it's a match made in heaven."

Last year, "The Situation" made more than $5 million. He was the highest paid reality star behind Kim Kardashian. Most of that money came from business deals, not MTV's hit show.

"When I get involved with a company, I put my all into it and take it seriously," Sorrentino said. "I love to be in front of the camera, but also behind because that is my brand."

'The Situation' said the goal of his new business venture is to make Boca Tanning Club the "T" in "GTL" in all 50 states.
