For a nation facing an obesity epidemic, The Biggest Loser might well be the most inspiring show on television. Watching over-weight contestants shed hundreds of pounds and literally transform their lives in a matter of months is nothing short of amazing.
But for those of us with some excess LBs to lose but lacking the time, motivation and professional training to get the job done, watching other people slim down while we sit on the couch can be depressing.
Thankfully, for Floridians looking to cut the flab out of their lives, that's no longer an excuse. On Saturday, June 23, Planet Fitness will be hosting an open casting for Season 14 of The Biggest Loser at its Miami branch.
If selected, you'll be sweating it out six hours a day under the supervision of renowned personal trainers Bob Harper and Dolvett Quince as you compete against other contestants for the $250,000 grand prize -- talk about a nice little carrot to chase (yes, you will learn to love eating them).
