Poplife at the Pickle

Popular nightlife event changing venues

Moving isn’t just one of the most stressful life experiences, it’s also a chance to reorganize and improve your life. Mostly though, it’s just stressful and involves a ton of yelling and tears. Hopefully, you’re not moving and you can just enjoy the perks of Poplife's change of venue. They’ve packed their bags at White Room and are unloading at the Electric Pickle.

Not to harp on the genealogy, but the Electric Pickle was last known as Circa 28, which most of Miami made it out to at one point or another. It’s got an upstairs, a downstairs and an outside area. Upstairs, keep your ears peeled for resident DJs Aramis, Induce and Mike Deuce. Downstairs Benton and Mr. Brown will be creating a scene with their own sound cocktails. To celebrate their new home, there will be a special guest set by Kid, who’ll be spinning all of his Poplife favorites.

Poplife has an impressive calendar of upcoming events, some of which they’re co-presenting with the Electric Pickle. For September, come see VHS or Beta (12th), Andy Robotnick (19th) and Tim Sweeney (26th).

Make sure to look up to par, because our own Nefarious Girl will be snapping photos for her site, and hey, no one wants you looking like a douche in there anyway. There are two for one 42 Below cocktails before 11 p.m., and it’s free entry before midnight. Don’t be so Miami, and get out early to enjoy the perks. After midnight, the entrance is $10 and no one’s helping you out with cocktails, unless you’re looking really cute. The Electric Pickle is on 2826 North Miami Ave. Be careful where you park, they do tow.
