Weekend Rundown: Auto Show, Festival Miami & More

There's a wine and food festival, an auto show and more to attend this weekend.

The weekend is here, and we're getting one extra hour to relax as the clocks turn back. So we thought you would want see how you could spend your time.

The Seminole Hard Rock Wine and Food Festival is finally here! Sunday you can sample delicious foods from more than 20 restaurants and more than 300 wines from around the world. The festival is taking place at The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino from 1pm to 5pm. Tickets are $45. To purchase go to thewineandfoodfestival.com. Cancer Dance: Through her struggle with breast cancer, Patricia San Pedro found the strength to be strong and have hope. As a survivor, she continues to inspire women in her new book "The Cancer Dancer." You can catch Patricia Sunday at the Books and Books in Coral Gables. Dolphins Cycling Challenge: Earlier this year our we lost a great member of our community, Jim "Mad Dog" Mandich, former dolphins and radio personality. The mad dog lost his battle to cancer, but his legacy lives on through his family and friends who are all taking part in the Dolphins
Cycling Challenge. NBC Miami's Joe Rose and Adam Kuperstein will also be participating. This 100 mile ride will take part in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties and all the proceeds will go to the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. Auto Show: Hundreds of cars will be on display at the South Florida International Auto Show. The show takes place Oct. 28th through Nov. 6th at The Miami Beach Convention Center. Adults pay $10, children (6-12) $3. For more information go to sfliautoshow.com

Festival Miami: The annual music festival that kicks off the South Florida arts season is back! Festival Miami presents 25 to 30 performances including world premieres and symphonic concerts. Reptile Day: Check out the scaly creatures taking over the Miami Science Museum for reptile day, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at The Miami Science Museum. For more information, call 305.646.4200 or visit miamisci.org

Santa's Enchanted Forest: Thursday is opening night for what is said to be the world's largest Christmas theme park. Santa's Enchanted Forest at Tropical Park, located right off the Palmetto Expy. and Bird Rd., features more than 100 rides, games and attractions, as well as thousands and  thousands of lights.
