BEAUTY:
This season, two colors remain consistent: Pink and peach (and variations thereof, including lighter and darker pinks and oranges. Smashbox conquers both with its Be Discovered Cream Cheek Trios, available in Show Biz (raspberry, bubblegum and cool highlight) and In Lights (Warm Coral, Sparkling Rose and Warm Highlight). Expect a little shimmer, a kiss of color and a hint of highlight. Or mix all three for a natural glow. Though its cream, it’s not oily, which works well for the Miami girl’s summer complexion. Benefits of cream blushes in summer: They stick around a lot longer when doing battle with the humidity. Stock up while you can. These are limited edition offerings. GET IT: $29 each. Available at Sephora stores and sephora.com.

SPA: Saving your pennies for a summer getaway doesn’t really make for a good spa splurge. But you can still reap beautifying benefits at home for next to nothing. Just grab a coconut water, like Vita Coco, and start beautifying. Many a Brazilian bombshell has reveled the coconut is what keeps her looking so sexy. And why shouldn’t it? Coconuts abound in the area and coconut water is packed with hydrators and electrolytes. It also balances out acid levels and flushes out toxins. All of that works for your skin, as well as quenching your thirst. We suggest using a little coconut water as a facial toner. And the next time you’re in the shower, rinse shampoo out with coconut water instead of tap water. It will lock moisture into your mane, which is exactly, what we need come summertime, where coconuts grow wild in the trees. Don’t be shocked if you see beauty junkies scaling the palms around town. They know what’s up. GET IT: For more info, log on to http://vitacoco.com/.

GYM:  Fact: It’s bathing suit season. Like it or not, it’s here. So, what are you going to do about it? Jordanna Dworkin suggests heading over to Equinox for Barre Burn. And that is exactly what it sounds like: Feeling the burn ballet-style. So how is that going to motivate you to the gym? How about benefits like slimmer hips, tighter thighs, perkier bum, sculpted arms and a faster metabolism? Want to get their faster? Try these tips from Dworkin.

Commit to a consistent workout schedule, blocking out 1 to 2 hours a workout, three to five times a week.

Mix one hour of cardio with 5-10 target music group exercises, like Pilates Series of Five, Magic Circle Inner Thighs/Glutes or the Barre Burn Arm Sequence at least three times a week.

Are you an early bird at the gym? Substitute fresh fruits and veggies for breakfast to sustain blood sugar levels before your workout. Sip a fresh coconut water after to restore electrolytes (use leftover to beautify).

Just say no to refined sugar, foods made with white flour, processed foods and alcohol for two whole weeks. Hey, we never said getting there faster was going to be easy.

To get you through those brutal food cravings, snack on a handful of carrots or take 3 to 5 chlorella tablets two times a day.

You can do it. GET IT: Available at Equinox Aventura and Coral Gables. and South Beach
