Daily Deal: Sara Mique and Little Big Store Sales

One new clothing store, one 20-year-old jewelry boutique, two ways to be a savvy frugal fashionista

Frugal fashionistas can start their Friday off with a sample sale and nab plenty of custom-made evening and casual wear marked up to 70 percent off. Coconut Creek’s Sara Mique boutique is hosting the event from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow. Sample dresses and outfits that normally sell from $200 up to $900 will be there for the taking.

Find plenty of ready-to-wear frocks in an assortment of fabrics from lace to silk to velvet dresses with intricate embroidery. There’s also wedding gowns and mother-of-the bride dresses from small through plus sizes. Owner and designer Joan Lamonica said the clothes can work for someone in their twenties and someone who is 80-years-old.

“There are many different styles – some more revealing and some more conservative.”

On Saturday, drive to Coconut Grove and take part in the Little Big Store’s 20th year anniversary fête. Everything in the entire store will be 20 percent off. The boutique, which is known for its one-of-a kind silver jewelry, also carries discount designer clothing and cheap and chic apparel.

Rummage through racks to find labels like Seven jeans, Catherine Maladrino, Alice +Olivia, Ingwa Melero and
Ella Moss. Enjoy drinks and food while you're there. Owner Avi said the sale will be all day, but the real party will be from 7 p.m. until midnight.
