South Florida Forecast: Muggy Weather To Continue

Highs will be in the mid-80s

Cloudy, muggy, occasionally rainy or stormy weather will continue in South Florida as a deep dip in the jetstream over the Southern Plains extends into the western Gulf of Mexico, producing a very moist southwesterly wind flow that keeps clouds and humidity over our region.

It’s a rather stagnant weather pattern, and on Thursday as well as Friday we’ll continue to see very little sunshine and the chance of rain will be quite high.

Most of us will experience the rain and hear thunder for the rest of the work week, with highs in the mid-80s. This weekend there might be some improvement, but due to the continued source of moisture the chance of scattered showers or thunderstorms remains in place.
