Sunny Days are Ahead for South Florida

South Florida has gotten soaked lately, but the sun should be shining mid-week

South Florida should gradually dry out on Tuesday after getting more than a foot of rain since Friday.

There will still be a risk for a lingering rain shower and some clouds will stick around, but dryer conditions wil start and could last several days into November.

The persistent front that arrived on Friday will finally be pushed to the southeast by a high-pressure system building in from Georgia. This will allow for a gradual clearing on Tuesday followed by sunnier weather Wednesday through Friday.

The weekend should bring nice weather as the next front is expected to be dry and move cleanly through Fort Lauderdale and Miami by Saturday morning. With three of the last four weekends having been washouts, a sunny weekend will be a sight for sore eyes.
