Arctic Front to Freeze South Florida

Temps could be in the 20s on Tuesday

Don't put the winter clothes away yet.

An arctic front will descend into south Florida Monday, potentially bringing the coldest temperatures of the season.

A freeze warning will be in effect Monday night and Tuesday morning across Broward and Miami-Dade Counties, as temperatures are expected to be in the low 30s.

Early temperatures Tuesday in the 20s and 30s will feel even colder when combined with winds, making it feel like the mid-20s at times. A wind chill warning will be active Monday evening through Tuesday morning.

It is essential that locals dress properly for this dangerous cold, and that pets spend the night inside.

The weather will slowly warm through the week and by Wednesday, morning lows will be in the upper 30s with highs in the mid 60s.
