Early morning cloud cover will give way to afternoon sunshine Friday with highs again returning to the lower 80s in South Florida.
The weekend ahead looks great as northerly winds bring in drier air and more sunshine each afternoon. Shower chances will be limited as temperatures run a touch below average.

Afternoon highs will hit 80 on Saturday, 78 on Sunday and 78 again on Monday while lows dip into the lower to mid 60s each night.
Be on guard for breezy afternoons late in the weekend which will, in turn, lead to a higher rip current risk on the beaches for the latter half of the weekend.
