Summer heat staying in South Florida

The summer heat will stay in South Florida through the weekend as shower and thunderstorm chances begin to ramp up.
 
A weak tropical wave will pass south of the area in the next few days, aiding in the shower development.

Look for hot and hazy conditions to persist for Friday as highs climb to 90.

Saturday will bring isolated thunderstorms with partly sunny skies.  Morning lows will start in the upper 70s with highs around 90.

Sunday will be the wet day of the weekend with scattered showers and storms in the afternoon.
