Lots of Sunshine, Highs in Low 90s Thursday

More humidity in South Florida Thursday with chance of afternoon rain

It was a beautiful start Thursday in South Florida with lots of sunshine and a little more humidity in the air with temps in the upper 70s.

There were a few showers offshore in the Keys, but nothing made it onshore.

Expect a quick warm-up Thursday, with highs in the low 90s. A few afternoon storms could pop up later in the day, with the best chances of rain in northern portions of Broward.  Humidity will gradually increase, with a southwest flow returning.

A cold front will get closer to South Florida Friday, increasing rain chances. The front should keep most of the tropical moisture to our south for the weekend.  We should see upper 80s this weekend, with rain chances at 30 percent.
