The cold front from late this weekend is still making its presence felt across South Florida. Everyone, outside of the Keys, saw lows dip into the 50s this morning. We bottomed out at 57 in Ft Lauderdale and 59 in Miami. The Keys were milder with lows of 69 in Key West and 67 in Marathon.
Highs will struggle to get into the mid-70s today with 74 the forecast high for Miami. The average high for this time of the year is 78. A steady north breeze will make it feel even cooler. We make another run at the 50s overnight tonight, and it looks like it will be even cooler by a couple degrees. Tuesday afternoon begins our warming trend with 76 the forecast high in Miami.
We warm even further by the end of the week with 80s and a few storms by late Thursday. Another cold front hits on Friday, clearing us out and cooling us down for the weekend. We are looking at lows in the 50s and highs in the 70s all over again.
