Our first fall cold front did its job and kept temperatures a half-dozen degrees cooler today than yesterday’s record-hot readings.
It’ll be seasonable this week, except for Friday when it’ll spike again near 90° just ahead of the next front, which, as of now, looks to bring the coolest air of the season, with lows in the 60s by Sunday morning.
A few showers will linger Tuesday and Wednesday with the remnants of the old front hanging around South Florida. Thursday and Friday look drier (and warmer) before the next front arrives on Saturday along with some showers. Then it’ll clear out on Sunday with much lower humidity and the aforementioned cooler temperatures.
