Scattered Showers Expected Throughout Friday

Mostly cloudy, highs around 80 degrees in South Florida

Partly to mostly cloudy conditions will linger over South Florida Friday as scattered showers will form along and around a weakening cold front.

The day will start in the lower 70s and highs will reach about 80 degrees.  Though plenty of dry times will be present, occasional showers are possible throughout the day.

Winds from 10-20 mph will be present Friday through the weekend.  Winds will gradually subside between Sunday and Monday.  The onshore breeze may carry a shower or two into Broward or Miami-Dade this weekend.

Wake up weather on Saturday will feature morning lows in the lower 70s and spotty showers.  Afternoon highs will be in the lower 80s.  Plan on a partial sun and 20 percent chance of a shower.

Sunday will start with temperatures in the low to mid 70s.  A mostly dry day will develop with a bit more sunshine than Saturday.  Though it will still be breezy, the winds will not be as strong and afternoon highs will peak around 83.
