Scattered Thunderstorms, Cloudy Skies Friday

Expect a muggy, hot day Friday

Early Friday temperatures were in the lower 80s. It will be another muggy, hot day with highs near 90. Dew point temperatures in the low to mid 70s will make it feel more like the upper 90s (heat index).

Mostly cloudy skies will persist much of the day with scattered showers and thunderstorms, especially this afternoon. If the clouds break apart, expect a quick jump in the temperature. Also, the more sunshine, the more likely thunderstorms become.
