Shower Chances Friday, Highs Around 85

Chance for early morning showers followed by isolated thunderstorms in South Florida

With the approach of a cold front across Florida, shower and thunderstorm chances will be ramping up for the next two afternoons.

While it won’t rain all day Friday, keeping some rain gear on stand-by today is a good bet. Showers and storms will be a little more widespread on Saturday before the pattern improves by Sunday afternoon.

Friday's morning temperatures will start in the upper 70s. Expect another chance for an early-morning showers, then isolated thunderstorms this afternoon. It'll still be warm and humid, with highs around 85.

Saturday will be mostly cloudy, with scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms and highs of 86. Sunday will see more sunshine and a drier pattern, with highs of 84.
