Sunday’s weather is having a nice start that is expected to lead into a windy afternoon.
The day kicked off with temperatures around 70 degrees and breezy conditions. The easterly winds should steadily increase, making for the windy afternoon.
Because of strong east winds, a high risk of rip currents will remain along the Atlantic beaches.
Sunday’s highs will climb to about 80, with a slight chance of a fast-moving shower along with the breeze.
The breeze will stick around through most of Monday, with winds relaxing late in the day Monday.
There also is a slight chance of a stray shower that will remain in Monday’s forecast.
Overall, it should be a pretty quiet week, with highs in the low 80s and lows around 70.
