An upper-level storm system, now centered over Cuba, will lead to heavy rain over parts of South Florida Saturday morning, but the day won't be a complete washout.
The National Hurricane Center issued a special tropical weather outlook for the system, which was forecast to move westward over the Florida peninsula on Saturday.
There's no chance for the disturbance to develop, but heavy rain and gusty winds are possible over portions of South Florida, mainly during the morning hours.
During the afternoon, especially after 2 p.m., skies will become partly sunny and only an isolated storm is possible, but many folks will be dry by mid afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 80s with much higher humidity than Friday.
Sunday will be similar with scattered showers in the morning and only an isolated storm chance in the afternoon, but rain chances Sunday are lower than Saturday.
