Weather Forecast: Mostly Cloudy With Afternoon Storms Monday

Summertime pattern remains in South Florida, highs around 89

A summertime pattern remains well-established across South Florida Monday, carrying more thunderstorm chances with it.

Afternoon storms continue in the forecast for the next few days before tapering back by Wednesday and Thursday.

Monday will be mostly cloudy with afternoon showers and thunderstorms and highs around 89. Tuesday will remain mostly cloudy with highs again in the upper 80s.

Tropical Storm Humberto has formed in the Eastern Atlantic, just south of the Cape Verde Islands. This is the eighth named storm of the season and is not a threat to the U.S. While we have yet to see a hurricane form this season, it’s possible Humberto could become a hurricane by Wednesday.
