Showers and storms are still in the forecast Wednesday and Thursday before a sunnier weather pattern drops in for the weekend.

A significant weather advisory was issued for southeastern Broward, northern Miami-Dade, southeastern Collier and northern mainland Monroe counties for gusty winds of 45 to 55 miles per hour until 1 p.m.

By the weekend, expect dry conditions and lower humidity as highs climb to near 90.

Conditions in the tropics remain quiet at this time.
